Please refer to the section titled “Training Curriculum” next section for a detailed breakdown of the course contents. Spend some time reading and digesting it.

Take some of our classes and importantly, take classes elsewhere too. Check out what’s out there, find your fit, and then select what sits well with you.

Thereafter, if you’ve decided or need more information about our courses, indicate your interest by emailing info@mysorebreathingroom.com with the words “TTC Application” or “200-hr Foundations” within the subject field of your email.

TTC candidates with less than 3 months of practicing experience should see us in person such that we can ensure you get the most out of attending, if you do. At that point, we can discuss how to take your practice forward, and perhaps recommend completing suggested readings in advance, doing some preparatory homework, or attend some training at our shala.

CERTIFICATION

We have partnered with Yoga Alliance to allow our graduates to receive RYS200 designations.

You will be required to attend all designated training hours, demonstrate proficiency in assignments, and participate in practicum teaching sessions both as a teacher-trainee and a student in that teacher-trainee’s class (learning to be a good teacher requires learning to be a good student at first instance)

We do not assign comparative grades that give rise to peer-to-peer rivalry. Rather, we place emphasis on developing you throughout the course, and the amount and extent you have grown by looking at the differential between the start and end of the course i.e., the only person we want you to beat is your past-self. In other words, do something today that your future-self will thank you for.

eachers on the extent of their improvement, and not by way towards improvement throghout the course as opposed to in
